Andrés González has a degree in social communication and marketing from Urbe University, Miami Florida, focused on communication for development and social change. He has a diploma in Strategic Governance from the ICESI University and Strengthening Competencies for Community Initiatives that Build Peace from the Cooperative University of Colombia.

 He is the director of the Prisioneros de Esperanza Collective and the Pan Vivo Foundation, community-based organizations that work for the empowerment and reduction of violence through artistic and cultural expressions in the hillside area of ​​Cali. Acumen Fellow 2019 and member of the first cohort of leaders of the Unidad de Acción Vallecaucana 2017.

 He worked as an Area Specialist in the protection program of the ICBF-Assisted Probation of the SRPA Adolescent Criminal Responsibility System and Community Liaison in the TIP Comprehensive Treatment of Gangs project “Youth without Borders”.

He participated in the UNESCO International Forum on Inclusion and Equity in Education “Every student is important”, in the presentation Effective actions to tackle violence and bullying.
