María Alejandra is a professional in Government and International Relations, with a focus on Public Management, from Universidad Externado de Colombia. During her academic career, she identified her professional interest in projects and public policies with social impact related to education, migration and gender equality. During her academic experience, she worked with the District Secretary of Education and UNDP on a research project that focused on the barriers that prevent high school students from transferring to higher education or entering the labor market. 

At Movilizatorio, she has worked on educational projects that promote play as a fundamental component of learning and integral development, as well as media education to combat misinformation. This has allowed her to develop skills in research, pedagogy, communications and strategies.

María Alejandra has a passion for service and is empathetic and calm. Throughout her life, she has liked to participate in volunteer work and contribute from the social field to the communities to promote their welfare.
