Together with the Lego Foundation and Purpose, we developed a strategy to position learning through play in children. For this, we have the support of mothers, fathers and caregivers. This initiative began in Brazil, Mexico and Colombia in 2020 and from 2021 it was developed in Brazil, Colombia and Rwanda.
Challenge
Lack of recognition of the value of play in the integral development of children, as well as the relationship of this activity with the learning of social, emotional, cognitive, physical and creative skills of girls and boys.
Strategy
Create and implement interventions designed to position learning through play in Colombia as a fundamental aspect of childhood development. Thus, we seek to connect the reality and experiences of parents and caregivers with the political and electoral moment and national public policy.
