I am a mathematician by profession with a specialization in project management for socio-environmental impact, a field that has allowed me to merge my passion for numbers with my deep commitment to communities. Currently, I am a master’s student in psychology, an academic journey that allows me to integrate the understanding of the human mind with my work of accompanying social change. Throughout more than ten years of professional experience, I have witnessed the transformative power of political and citizen participation, leading both public and private projects focused on giving visibility and voice to citizens.
My purpose is to use technology as a powerful tool to bridge the digital divide, providing local and sustainable solutions that respond to the needs and pains of youth and citizens in general. My work is not only focused on the here and now, but on building a future where communities are agents of change, actively involved in the decision making process. I strongly believe in social learning as an essential resource to unite efforts and achieve early victories, always under a collaborative and open vision.
Outside of work, I feel deeply connected to nature: hiking is one of my passions, and mountains and rivers give me a sense of renewal. These moments in nature not only oxygenate my body, but also my relationships and processes. As for my personal side, I enjoy good food, especially Creole food, and there is no better complement than a cup of hot coffee accompanied by a deep conversation.
Currently, I am very focused on the processes of new masculinities, gamification and agilism, concepts that allow me to explore new ways to address challenges. In Movilizatorio I accompanied the coordination in Cali of the youth network Incidir para Existir financed by UNDEF.
