Lawyer, Political Scientist and Master in Political Science from Universidad de los Andes. Master in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (USA). The main areas of practice in which she has worked are corporate social responsibility, international cooperation and legal and socio-political analysis for the formulation and recommendation of public policies for peace building, development, conflict resolution, transitional justice and demobilization, disarmament and reintegration (DDR) programs.

During my professional career I have had the opportunity to work in various organizations in different sectors. Such as the Fundación Ideas para la Paz (FIP), one of the most recognized think tanks in the country, as a senior researcher in the area of post-conflict and peacebuilding. Continuing my work in peacebuilding and conflict, upon returning from my master’s degree at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, I joined the management team of the Colombian Agency for Reintegration (ACR), now the Agency for Reincorporation and Normalization (ARN), as Coordinator of the Private Sector Group and Strategic Alliances, in addition to being an advisor to the general director. My main functions were to coordinate public-private partnerships (PPP) between ACR and strategic allies with the objective of promoting the principle of co-responsibility, designing and implementing for the allies their participation strategy in the peacebuilding and post-conflict process. Coordinate alliances with the private sector to achieve the socioeconomic reintegration of ex-combatants in large companies in Colombia through inclusion in their productive chains, employability, corporate volunteering, internships or support for reconciliation spaces. Promote and coordinate strategic alliances with the academic and third sector in order to link them to the peace-building process by supporting the reintegration process of ex-combatants.

I also had the opportunity to work at the Presidential Agency for International Cooperation, APC-Colombia as an advisor to the General Director and as Coordinator of Strategic Alliances and the private sector. My work focused on coordinating public-private partnerships for development (APPD) between APC-Colombia and strategic allies in order to focus and streamline the international cooperation received by Colombia. Constructing and executing for the allies their strategy of effective participation in projects and initiatives that count on international cooperation, seeking that the different actors involved have a more active and proactive role from their different sectors. Coordinate alliances with the private sector and strategic allies from the social sector and academia to ensure that their participation is effective and works in favor of peace building, sustainable rural development and/or environmental conservation and sustainability. Finally, advise the Director General and the Directorates of International Cooperation Demand Management, Supply and Inter-institutional Coordination on all issues relevant to strategic alliances, market studies and identification of potential partners and materialize strategic alliances for APC-Colombia. Emphasizing the power of alliances and the objective of articulating actors, aligning interests and leveraging resources around projects and initiatives that achieve great impact in peace building, sustainable rural development and environmental sustainability and conservation.

In this way, I find myself today in Movilizatorio to promote the strategic alliances necessary to achieve social transformation and support all our processes with my knowledge and experience in conflict resolution, peace building and development.
