Together with USAID, we designed and implemented a comprehensive strategy that addressed different work components, both with citizens and with the institutions attached to the local justice systems, with the objective of increasing satisfaction levels and strengthening confidence in judicial services. The process was structured to generate behavioral changes and strengthen capacities in the different agents of change at the territorial level and to co-construct civic initiatives that strengthen participation.
Challenge
To impact the low levels of citizen satisfaction when accessing justice, as well as to increase confidence in the justice system and services.
Strategy
We develop actions aimed at generating behavioral changes, capacities and co-construction processes between citizens and public servants. We contribute to increasing the levels of satisfaction with justice services and trust in its actors in 12 municipalities in Colombia: Carmen de Bolívar, Carepa, Apartadó, Tierralta, Montelíbano, Caucasia, Istmina, Condoto, Tumaco, Buenaventura, Santander de Quilichao and Puerto Caicedo.
