"I made a prosperous voyage when I suffered a shipwreck."

I use this phrase from Zeno of Citium because shipwrecks are what have brought me to where I am. It sounds very dramatic, but it is not so dramatic. I am a social communicator because I could not be an airline pilot. Being color blind is not compatible with aviation, but seeing the world in a different color did help me in communication.

I have worked in traditional and independent media, analog and digital, as a journalist and editor. I am passionate about writing. I love telling stories and creating universes. I am enthusiastic about accompanying and listening. I also worked for foundations, private companies and public entities, where I learned about the real impact of policies designed for the welfare of citizens.

In 2020 I did a master’s degree in Transmedia Communication at Eafit University, which opened the doors to culture, science, technology and innovation. Thanks to their learning and networks, I found my vocation: to inspire, through communication, those who have the power to transform.

I am now communications coordinator for two environmental projects within Movilizatorio and my responsibility is to make the voices of Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities resonate in global arenas so that their demands are heard.
