Together with USAID and the Carvajal Foundation, we implemented the Participa+ Model to strengthen citizen participation at the local level. In this case, community participation in public policy decision-making was channeled through the creation of a virtual platform called Marea Digital, which served to consolidate a participatory, critical and active citizenry in Buenaventura.
Increase and strengthen citizen participation in public affairs in Buenaventura, as well as the monitoring and communication of the same before the public institutions of the territory.
We incorporated a virtual platform that, based on the principles of civic technology, would contribute to the generation of information from the citizenry for the creation and deployment of local community advocacy campaigns.
