Together with UN Women, Women’s Peace & Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) and the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Participation (NIMD), we facilitated the participation of women signatories of the agreement and victims of the armed conflict in politics. This took place in 4 territories in Colombia: Bogotá, Medellín, Montes de María and Serranía del Perijá.
To influence the Government and Congress team (2022-2026 period), so that the voices and needs of women victims of the armed conflict and ex-combatants are taken into account when making decisions, as well as in the creation and implementation of policies.
We designed a massive campaign that included the co-construction of a joint agenda with women victims of the conflict and signatories of the agreement. We executed several actions that resulted in the generation of spaces for conversation and to finally deliver the co-created agenda to decision makers of Gustavo Petro’s government.
